Practical experience. Personal understanding.
I spent 38 years in federal service, including senior leadership roles responsible for large teams, difficult decisions, and meaningful work. I understand the pressure to deliver results while taking care of the people doing the work.
I also learned that caring deeply and working hard don’t automatically make your leadership effective.
I thought I was being clear. Sometimes, my team heard criticism. What I intended as an effort to identify a problem could sound like an accusation. I had to learn to slow down, ask questions, and listen before moving to solutions.
That experience shapes my work today.
How I Help
Through leadership coaching and team training, I help people recognize their impact, understand different perspectives, and practice more effective ways to communicate, address problems, and work together.
I bring practical leadership experience, certification as an Enneagram coach, and a willingness to ask honest questions with care.
Based in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
